About Us
At Sharanya Earth Foundation, our purpose is to honour and promote the sanctity of all life forms and to work towards their conservation and alleviation of their suffering. It is an independent, registered public trust functioning in and around Pondicherry and neighbouring Tamil Nadu. The areas of operation can be classified into two broad categories – animal welfare & ecological conservation. Ingrained in all our activities is our strong belief in sustainable practices in harmony with nature and the planet we inhabit.
Animal Welfare
The primary aim of our animal welfare activities is the well-being of street and feral animals which need medical treatment, care and shelter. This has advantages with respect to the social environment whereby the care of the animals automatically translates into safety and protection for the people.
